Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Mulliner, Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding unit has created a unique keycase to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Bentley brand. Made of Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying "B" paperweight, a set of keys, and a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics
Bentley is a firm which takes its aesthetics seriously. This is evident in the precise positioning of its quilting, the use of leather derived from cattle by-products and sustainable managed forests, and the unique patterns of its levers. As you approach a car like the Continental GT W12, its beautiful sculptural design is highlighted by carefully selected lighting.
The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top car. Its rear tonneau for instance, featured the largest piece of dark-stained, book-matched Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to the production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.
It is this unique design, craftsmanship and attention to detail that have established Bentley as the most sought-after automotive brand. The company is constantly pushing the boundaries with the latest technologies and craftsmanship. This includes the introduction of an electronic tilt-opening rear window sunroof, as well as a custom-designed Apple iPad docking station.
A century after its inception, Bentley - now under sole Volkswagen ownership after years of fighting with BMW and BMW - celebrated its centennial in the year 2019. Design
Bentley is known for its luxurious and ostentatious automobiles, but even the keys are designed to make a statement. The key is also engraved with the dates 1919 and 2019 to commemorate the company's centennial.

Alongside a series of refined styling updates The Mulsanne is powered by twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre W12 engine that can produce 560bhp and 479lb-ft of torque. This incredible power is enhanced by a new suspension design that gives Bentley's signature hushed ride.
In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a specific specification that is called the Centenary Specification for cars manufactured in 2019. This includes cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold thread throughout the cabin. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests and seats as well as other areas of the car. This adds to the celebration. A custom Bentley key case is included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.
Function
The Bentley Mulsanne key comes with buttons that open the trunk and a second button that can start the car. The key also comes with a switch that allows you to turn on the parking brake. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors if you are parking in a tight spot. This feature makes it easier to get in and out of your vehicle.
bentley key programming takes two days to create. It is cut by hand and shaped, then sewn, sealed and polished to create an excellent finish. It is durable, compact, and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton's big car key, but it feels heavier and more premium.

Secure-A-Key is also available to help prevent keyless entry theft. This device is inserted into the remote control fob and then shuts it off when the key isn't used for more than a few minutes. It stops thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices which can unlock and start the vehicle.
Bentley's distinctive design is a reflection of the company's values, which include fine craftsmanship and engineering expertise as well as modern technology. Over 4,000 employees work at the Crewe headquarters, where they are responsible for the design, development, and production of Bentley automobiles. bentley key 's Mulliner division lets customers create their own car. Guests sit at a series of images referred to as "mood stations" and select a series of photos ranging from picturesque vistas to sporting events - that can inspire them. As each selection is made, a pattern appears and reveals the models and colors of the custom Bentley.
The configuration that is created is then loaded onto individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys which are handed out to the guests in a custom key case. The keys can also be outfitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps, which illuminate the door-opening path with the owner's name and/or emblem when they arrive at the vehicle.
Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man-hours in order to create and assemble the average Mulsanne. One of the main reasons for that lengthy effort is a deliberate decision to adopt the latest technology. Instead of using a machine to space the perfectly-matched leather seats workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. Instead of using the car's built-in sensors guide it to parallel and perpendicular parking spaces, drivers have to do it by hand.
Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization skills with a unique Mulsanne W.O. Edition, that pays tribute to William Osler, the founder of Bentley. Edition, which pays homage to the man who founded the company, William Osler Bentley. The 100 limited-edition cars include an exclusive key that shows a portion of the 1930 8 Liter's crankshaft.
